Cameroon – social: Fire Ravages 30shops at Mboppi

Another fire incident has claimed 30 shops at the Mboppi market, Douala. Business owners and shop keepers could not believe their eyes Tuesday morning when they met their daily source of income all burnt down to ashes. According to eye witness, shops along block five and 10 dealing in kitchen utensils, chemicals and cosmetic products were the target. The incident which began on the night of Monday November 11, 2019 called the attention of fire fighters a little late. Before they could act, 30 shops were already reduced to ashes.

This incident comes after two other fire incidents at the ENEO center and the Ngondo traditional festival site.
